You can share a product with another person by sending them its public page link.
Every product in your pantry (the products you have scanned or added) has its own public page on the web. Anyone can open that page, even without a Chomply account, so it is a simple way to show a friend or family member something you found.
Share a product
- Open the product's public page in your browser.
- Copy the web address at the top of the browser.
- Send the link by message, email, or however suits you.
What the other person sees
The public page shows the product's name, brand, and ingredient details. It does not show your personal Verdict, Chomply's CLEARED or FLAGGED result, because a Verdict is checked against your own Avoidances (the ingredients you have asked Chomply to watch for). Two people can view the same product and get different results.
For their own result, ask them to Scan the product in Chomply. A Scan checks it against their Avoidances, not yours.
