Using Avoidance Packs

An Avoidance Pack adds a whole group of related ingredients to your list in one step.

An Avoidance is one ingredient, allergen, or additive you want Chomply to watch for. An Avoidance Pack is a ready-made bundle of related ones, so instead of typing each ingredient by hand you add the whole set at once. In the app these appear as Diet packs, grouped by style: Lifestyle, Health, Elimination, and Religious.

Add a pack

1. Open your avoidances page and tap Diet packs.
2. Browse the packs by group, then tap one to open it.
3. Review the ingredients inside, and toggle off any you do not want.
4. Activate the pack to add every kept ingredient to your list at once.

Each ingredient now behaves like any other Avoidance, so every Scan (a barcode, a label photo, or typed ingredients) checks against them all.

Manage a pack

• Reopen an active pack any time to add or remove ingredients, then save.
• Remove the whole pack in one step when you no longer need it.

Diet packs are part of a paid plan. You can always add single avoidances by hand for free.
