Sharing Grocery Lists

You can share any list as a read-only link, so a partner or housemate can see what to pick up.

Share a list

1. Open the list you want to share.
2. Find the Sharing section near the bottom of the page.
3. Tap Share. Chomply creates a private link.
4. Copy the link straight away and send it however you like.

Copy the link the moment it appears. For your privacy, Chomply only shows it once.

What the other person sees

• The list name and its items.
• Which items are already ticked off.

They do not need an account, and they cannot sign in. None of your personal details are shown, and they cannot add, edit, or check off items. The link is view-only.

Change or stop sharing

• Tap Regenerate link to swap in a fresh link. The old one stops working.
• Tap Stop sharing to switch it off. Anyone with the old link then lands on a "not found" page.

Sharing again later creates a brand-new link, so you stay in control of who can see the list.
