Creating Your Account

Creating a Chomply account takes a minute: sign up, verify your email, then add your first Avoidance.

Sign up

1. Choose Register on the sign-in screen.
2. Enter your name, email, and a password.
3. Confirm the same password in the second box.
4. Tap Create account to finish.

Chomply asks for a strong password and checks that it has not appeared in a known data breach. If it has, pick a different one.

Verify your email

Chomply emails a verification link to the address you signed up with. You must click it before you can use the app.

1. Open your inbox and find the email from Chomply.
2. Click the verification link inside it.
3. Return to Chomply, ready to go.

If the email has not arrived, check your spam folder or choose Resend verification email. Used the wrong address? Log out and start over, then sign up again.

Add your first Avoidance

After you verify, Chomply walks you through a short setup. The key step is adding your first Avoidance: an ingredient, allergen, or additive you want to watch for. Every Scan checks a product against your Avoidances, so add at least one before you start scanning.
