Using Global Search

Find almost anything in Chomply from one search box.

Global search looks across your pantry, recipes, grocery lists, family members, tags, and help articles at the same time. One place, one search.

Search across Chomply

1. Open search with the Search button in the top bar or the mobile menu.
2. Type at least two letters of what you are looking for.
3. Read the results, grouped by where they live, such as Recipes or Family.
4. Select a result to jump straight to it.

Pantry results show their Verdict, CLEARED or FLAGGED, so you can spot a match at a glance.

Handy extras

• Recent searches and recently viewed products show up before you type, so you can pick up where you left off.
• Quick actions let you jump straight to scan a product or start a grocery list without leaving the box.
• Clear your search history any time from the Recent searches row.

Search only ever covers your own data and your family's. It never reaches into another household's information.

Type at least two letters to see results. Anything shorter shows your recent activity instead.
