Understanding Add-ons

An add-on is a single paid feature. A plan upgrade is the whole bundle. Knowing the difference helps you pay less.
An add-on layers one extra onto what you already have. Pro (the paid plan for one person) is different: it includes every add-on feature in one price.
When an add-on is the cheaper choice
Pick an add-on when you want just one extra feature. Paying for a single add-on costs less than a full plan.
When a plan is the cheaper choice
Once you want two or more extras, the numbers change. Stacking several add-ons can cost more than Pro, which already includes them all. At that point the plan is the better deal.
Chomply watches for this. If your add-ons add up to more than Pro, the Billing section shows a Save with Pro prompt with a one-tap Switch to Pro button.
A quick rule of thumb
- One extra feature: an add-on is usually cheaper.
- Two or more extras: a plan usually wins.
- A household: Family Pro (the paid plan for a household) covers every member with Pro features.
