Emergency Cards
Published 19 July 2026 · 6 views
An Emergency Card is a printable summary of a person's key Avoidances and medical details that you can hand to a carer, babysitter, or restaurant.
It gathers what someone needs to know in a hurry: the ingredients they avoid, whether they carry an adrenaline auto-injector, medical notes, and who to call. An Avoidance is an ingredient or allergen you have told Chomply to watch for.
Fill in your emergency info
- Open Emergency Info from the navigation.
- Add medical notes and any medications.
- Turn on the epinephrine toggle if that person carries an auto-injector.
- Add emergency contacts with a name, phone number, and relationship.
- Save your details.
Generate the card
- Open the Emergency card from the resources area.
- Choose who the card is for.
- Select Generate PDF.
- Print the card, or save the PDF to send on.
The card pulls from that person's saved Avoidances and emergency info, so it stays current as you make changes.
Always check the details before you rely on a card in an emergency. Chomply helps you share the information, it is not a medical device.
