Deleting Your Account
Published 19 July 2026 · 6 views
You can delete your Chomply account from Settings. Deletion is permanent, so we build in a grace period before anything is removed.
Delete your account
- Open Settings and scroll to the Data and privacy card.
- Find the Delete your account section, marked as the danger zone.
- Confirm your password.
- Select Schedule account deletion.
This starts a 30-day grace period. Your account keeps working the whole time, so nothing is lost yet.
Changed your mind?
Return to the same section any time within those 30 days and select Cancel deletion. Your account carries on as normal.
What happens after 30 days
Once the grace period ends, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Chomply removes your personal data and uploaded files, including:
- Your profile, Avoidances, scans, and verdicts.
- Your pantry, grocery lists, recipes, and photos.
- Your Pinpoint, food tracker, emergency card, and Sage chats.
- Your passkeys, access tokens, and settings.
A few records are kept but unlinked from you, such as billing history we must retain and community reports that keep product data accurate. These no longer point back to your identity.
If you own a family, it passes to another parent so no one else loses their data.
Want a copy first? Request a data export before you delete. Once the 30 days pass, your data is gone for good.
