Changing Your Password

You can change your password any time from Settings, as long as you know your current one.

Change your password

1. Open Settings from the navigation.
2. Scroll to the Password card under Security.
3. Enter your current password.
4. Type your new password, then confirm it in the next field.
5. Save it with the Update password button.

Your current password confirms it is really you making the change. If you have forgotten it, use the forgot-password flow instead.

Choose a strong password

• Make it long. A short phrase of several words beats one tricky word.
• Keep it unique to Chomply, not reused from another site.
• Avoid names, birthdays, or anything easy to guess.

Chomply blocks passwords that show up in known data breaches, so if one is rejected, pick something fresh.

Changing your password does not sign you out on this device. On a shared computer, always log out when you finish.
